Frequently Asked Questions

At Wylie Fence & Deck, we know building a new fence or deck is a big decision. Here are some of the questions our customers ask most often. If you don’t see your question here, just give us a call. We’re always happy to talk it through!

Q: How long will it take to build my fence?
A: Most projects take about 5–7 days from start to finish. This includes time to safely mark underground cables, let concrete posts cure properly, and complete the final installation.

Q: What’s the construction process like?
A: There are 3 major phases of fence construction. First, we locate and mark any underground lines (as required by law). Next, we remove your old fence and set new posts in concrete. Finally, we install the pickets and finish your brand-new fence.

Q: How do payments work?
A: Payment is due upon completion of your project. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, and Visa. To keep our prices competitive, we don’t offer financing.

Q: Can I get a quote by phone or email?
A: When making a large purchase like a fence, deck, or shade structure, we feel it is best to meet face-to-face. This way, we can give you an accurate estimate and answer any and all questions. We offer convenient afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments for your convenience.

Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: Yes! Every new fence construction project comes with a 5-year guarantee on labor and materials. Automatic gates include a 3-year warranty, and our repair work is covered for 1 year.

Q: Why does insurance coverage matter?
A: It’s peace of mind for you. Our crews are fully covered with On-The-Job Accident insurance, and we carry General Liability insurance to cover any unfortunate accidents. That way, you’re never left relying on your homeowner’s policy, which has specific dollar limitations.
